The Bald Eagle Area School District has unanimously approved a 5-Year Contract for Christopher Santini to serve as Superintendent of Schools.
Mr. Santini arrives at Bald Eagle with a tremendous amount of experience in school administration. He currently serves as the Director of Pupil Services and Operations for Central Cambria School District in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. He also has served as a middle school and high school principal at Central Cambria for 12 years. Mr. Santini began his career as a social studies teacher in Exeter Township High School in Reading, Pennsylvania before serving as Assistant Principal at Manheim Central High School in Lancaster County.
After graduating from State College Area High School, Mr. Santini attended Penn State University majoring in social studies education. He has earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University and has pursued doctoral studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

My wife Emily and I are extremely excited to return home to Centre County to serve the Bald Eagle Area School District."
Mr. Santini begins his duties on July 1, 2024. He and his wife have two children, ages 10 and 11.
The BEA School Board worked with School Assist Consulting for several months to identify a school superintendent who possesses outstanding leadership skills and can fully relate to the Bald Eagle Area School District community and Centre County region.
Mr. Santini was chosen from the nearly 25 applicants that expressed interest in the position.
