The Bald Eagle Area School District Board of Directors approved the services of Dr. Edward Albert, Executive Director of Pennsylvania Association of Rural and Small School (PARSS) to begin the search process of our next Superintendent. We have met with Dr. Albert and have developed a timeline for the search. Our anticipated date to approve the candidate is planned for the March/April board meeting, with a start date of July 1. We as a board want to be very transparent in our search process. Through meetings and surveys conducted by Dr. Albert, staff, administrators and community members will have opportunities to share their input of characteristics of what they would like to see in our next superintendent. In the meantime, we will be advertising through various medias for candidates to begin the application process.
