Dear Parents:
YMCA of Centre County’s Backpack Program for the 2020-21 school year is getting
ready to begin! If you are interested in having your child participate in this program, please
complete the registration form attached. The Backpack Program distributes backpacks full of food
each Friday to ensure students have enough food to eat over the weekend. Each child participating
will receive breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack for both Saturday and Sunday.
Registration must be completed and returned to YMCA of Centre County-Moshannon Valley Branch: P.O.
Box 426, Philipsburg, PA 16866. If you have multiple children, please complete a separate
application for each child. There is no limit on the number of
children per household that can receive a backpack.
We’re very pleased to be able to offer this program as a way to give back and provide much-needed
assistance to families in our community. You will not be asked to provide any financial information
in order to participate. Additoinally, your name and personal information will be kept private and
not distributed to any outside agency.
