Dear BEA Community:
We have had several more confirmed cases at the MS/HS over the weekend. Therefore, the MS/HS will be closed to students
beginning tomorrow. I am waiting to hear back from the DOH to see how long the closure will be. Teachers will be teaching from home tomorrow for MS/HS students only. The one exception is MS/HS Life Skills students will report to in-person learning at Wingate Elementary School.
All elementary schools will be open as usual for in-person learning. A reminder that there is a 2 hour delay tomorrow for all students.
As soon as I have information from the DOH, I will notify everyone and keep you updated. I am hopeful this closure will be short, but we have a total of 9 positive cases at the MS/HS.
All extracurricular activities at the MS/HS are cancelled until school reopens for students.
For CPI students, I am going to reach out to Dr. Makin to see if they can still attend CPI in person.
